T-Bone Steak Noteblock

I experimented with different materials (crumbled paper, burlap, corduroy, various knits) on a flatbed scanner to determine what texture best mimicked raw steak. Alligator leather proved to be the winner in the end—it offered a satisfying meat grain and nice marbling.
